In this interactive and intuitive group workshop we will be delving into what are the top 4 factors to having a healthy and happy postpartum, as well as returning to feeling like yourself by taking your unique next best steps.

So what are the factors that play into how your postpartum time go? They can vary so much, but in this program we will talk about the most likely causes of anxiety and depression, fatigue, brain fog, postpartum injury, slow recovery after birth, and sense of self/community.

Meet Katy Gladwin, CHC

Welcome! I'm so glad you're here!

I’m Katy and I want to support you and your health goals!

I am a mother, birth doula, childbirth educator and of course, a certified Women’s Health Coach. I live in the woods with my family, and have been self-teaching about holistic care of the human body for as long as I can remember. I went to college at Eastern Michigan University and received my degree in Human Biology/Pre-med. During my final year in college, I discovered doula work and trained to become a doula as soon as I heard it was a thing. I have never looked back. I have helped over 300 families via doula services or supporting them through childbirth education. I hope to never stop attending births and am so excited to add health coaching as a  service to women before, during and after their childbearing year(s).  

In 2017 I began working towards moving my business into a coaching role.  The idea of being able to really help women make lasting change in their bodies and bring attention to their own intuitive knowing about what’s best for them has been VERY exciting for me! I have attended 2 rigorous coaching trainings, both as a group coach through the Dr. Sears Wellness Institute, focusing on nutrition, and lifestyle, and then as an integrative women’s health coach through the Integrative Women’s Health Institute, with a focus on fertility, pregnancy and postpartum, secondary infertility, and adrenal fatigue, looking at the whole person through a functional medicine lens.

I am a serial student, (currently enrolled in Aviva Romm’s Herbal Medicine for Women program) and have taken countless courses and seminars on how we can best support our bodies, but I think my best teacher has been working with, and seeing how food and rest and mindfulness can really have an impact on myself, and those around me.  I want to share what I know, and help you tap into what you know! The amazing thing with coaching is, that I’m trained to help you find your inner voice. To help you find the best path to healing FOR YOU! Everyone’s journey is going to be different, and I’m so looking forward to seeing where your journey takes you!
